Godoy strengthens its labor practice with the appointment of four new partners
Godoy, a legal services firm with a presence in Colombia and the Andean region, announces the appointment of Daniel Contreras, Gloria Ávila, Laura Buriticá, and Nicolás Godoy as new partners in its Labor Law practice. With these appointments, the firm consolidates its team of 11 partners in this strategic area and strengthens its ability to support companies facing the current challenges of the labor environment.

Profiles of the new partners
Daniel Contreras is a lawyer specializing in Labor Law and Industrial Relations, and holds a Master’s degree in Human Rights Protection and Justice. With over 12 years of experience, he has developed his practice in labor litigation, preventive consulting, and the management of complex labor matters in the public and private sectors.
Gloria Ávila is a lawyer specializing in Labor Law and Industrial Relations. She has over 15 years of experience in labor law consulting, audits, and proceedings before the UGPP (Administrative Unit of Special Pension Management), representing companies in sectors such as energy, retail, and technology. She has been recognized by LACCA (Latin American Association of Labor Lawyers) as a recommended lawyer and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Labor Lawyers Association.
Laura Buriticá is a lawyer specializing in Labor Law, with a specialization in Political, Economic, and Social Sciences, and an MBA. She has over 15 years of experience in strategic consulting, collective bargaining, and corporate training, with active participation in academic and professional associations.
Nicolás Godoy is a lawyer with a master’s degree in Labor Law and a specialization in Tax Law. He has over 12 years of experience in strategic consulting and labor and administrative litigation for national and international companies.
